UPH College Art Pathway Exhibition 2021 was held virtually from March 22 to 26, 2021. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Art Pathway students from UPH College remained enthusiastic about showcasing their creative works. Although the exhibition was conducted online, art enthusiasts were still able to view the exhibits and interact directly with each artist via Zoom. Additionally, the exhibition videos were made available on the UPH College website and YouTube channel, making them accessible to the general public.

This year's exhibition featured 15 visual artworks created by 15 student-artists from the 12th-grade Art Pathway program. The students presented pieces across various disciplines, including Visual Communication Design, Animation, Architecture, and Interior Design. The UPH College Art Pathway program, designed for talented 11th and 12th-grade students, has proven effective in nurturing artistic talent, as seen through the impressive works on display.

Student presentations were officially launched on the UPH College YouTube Channel on Monday, March 22, 2021. Visitors were treated to comprehensive presentations from each student, including background context, design goals, use of logos and colors, typography concepts, and the creative process behind each project. Moreover, visitors were given the opportunity to engage directly with the artists. These discussions and interactions took place via Zoom from Tuesday, March 23 to Friday, March 26, 2021.

One of the featured student-artists, Gerardeus Firstov Yesaya Widjaya, showcased a project titled "Designing Buildings as a Solution for Slum Housing in Jakarta." He explained that the concept behind his design was to create livable, green, and comfortable housing solutions by considering design elements such as furniture, flooring, walls, and lighting. Gerardeus concluded his presentation with a behind-the-scenes video showing the sketching and model-making process, including floor plans, exterior and interior designs, 2D views, elevation views, and 3D renderings.

The UPH College Art Pathway Exhibition 2021 received an enthusiastic response from visitors. Hundreds of people from various backgrounds attended and participated in the live Zoom interactions. Visitors shared positive feedback and admiration for the artworks, which could be seen in the YouTube chat and Zoom sessions.

Moving forward, UPH College will continue to host the Art Pathway Exhibition as a platform for students to showcase their skills in visual arts and to make greater contributions to the community.
