On June 4, 2018, UPH College held its 8th graduation ceremony at the Grand Chapel UPH, celebrating the graduation of 332 students from the 2017/2018 academic year.


In her opening remarks, UPH College System Coordinator, Mrs. Wiginy Kusliawan, emphasized the importance of having the fear of God as a foundation in life. She also encouraged graduates to be courageous in making a difference for their generation and the future, with the aim of creating a positive impact on others.

The 8th graduation ceremony was also attended by Dr. (Hon) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc., Chairman of the Pelita Harapan Educational Foundation (YPPH), Prof. Dr. Adrianus Mooy, M.Sc., Ph.D., YPPH Senior Advisor, along with deans and directors from Universitas Pelita Harapan.

A total of 54 graduates received the 'YPPH Appreciation' award for their long-standing commitment to the foundation, having studied from kindergarten through high school within the Pelita Harapan Education system. In addition, 39 students were honored as Most Contributed Students for their active participation in school events and positive contributions to the school community.

Gian Felix Goenawan and Feshia Wijaya were selected to deliver the valedictorian speech.

At the end of the ceremony, all guests, parents, and graduates were invited to a celebratory meal held on the UPH basketball court, accompanied by a live performance from the UPH College band.
